In November, the University of Poitiers was awarded the first regional research network in New Aquitaine on comics. The network includes the six universities in the region, the Cité Internationale de la Bande Dessinée et de l’Image, EESI, Magelis, etc. This network, unique in France, will make it possible, for the first time, to ensure the full visibility of comics as an object of interest for the humanities, social sciences and basic sciences.
